# Wie lang dürfen Pfad und Dateiname maximal sein?

KONNEKT muss die Begrenzungen für Pfadlänge und Dateinamenslänge in beiden Welten beachten:

* **SharePoint Online** \
  und
* **Windows**.

Die maximale Länge eines Dateinamens einschließlich Pfad beträgt **260 Zeichen** insgesamt.

Sie besteht aus Pfad und Dateiname:

* **Pfad** ist: `\\onedrive-<yourTenant>\<site>\<library>\<foldernames>\`\
  Er ist auf 248 Zeichen begrenzt.
* **Dateiname** ist: `<name>.<extension>`\
  Für den Dateinamen werden immer 12 Zeichen beibehalten (8.3). Pfad und Dateiname zusammen dürfen die Grenze von insgesamt 260 Zeichen nicht überschreiten.
